Basic Life Support (BLS is the primary medical aid provided to a person in an emergency medical situation. As a result this procedure can prove to be very helpful when it comes to saving the life of an individual. It is important to understand that the objective of BLS is not to ‘treat’ the person but to buy some valuable time until the emergency medical aid arrives. It clarify that the knowledge and skills in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), using automated external defibrillators (AED) and relieving airway obstructions in patients of every age. BLS is an all-in-one course which covers important skills that a health care provider must have.However Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Course is considered a slightly advanced one with greater complexity compared to Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training course.
The trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.In the Instructor-led course, students participate in simulated clinical scenarios and learning stations. Students work with an AHA BLS Instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing. Students also complete a written exam.

This class teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both pre-hospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on High-Quality CPR and team dynamics.
