All medical specialists aspiring to work in Qatar have to get certified by the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners – the QCHP. The QCHP qualification is one of the more sought after and also one of the toughest. It, therefore, requires special preparation and effort to crack this exam. The Registration & Licensing Department in Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) regulates healthcare practitioners who wish to work in the State of Qatar with the objective of upgrading levels of targeted healthcare services in order to maintain the health quality of residents in the State of Qatar, and to adopt unified policies approved by QCHP, regardless of the certificate’s origin or the applicant’s home country.
Passing Score for Qatar Prometric Exams 50%. (50/100 Questions, 2 ½ hours, it is valid only for 3 years) .The qualifying exam is considered to be one of the requirements for registration / licensing of healthcare practitioners to ensure the efficiency and the eligibility of applicants to work safely in the State of Qatar.
