1. Who can take the BLS and ACLS course?
The BLS and ACLS courses are designed for healthcare professionals, including Doctors, Registered Nurses, Nursing Students, Medical Students, Paramedics, EMTs, Dentists, and Pharmacists.
2. What is the duration of the BLS ACLS course?
The standalone BLS session takes 1 day (2–3 hours). The ACLS course spans 2 days (12–14 hours). The combined BLS + ACLS combo package is completed over 2 consecutive days.
3. What type of certificate will I receive?
Upon successfully passing written and skill evaluations, candidates receive an official American Heart Association (AHA) Provider eCard directly via email.
4. How long is the AHA BLS ACLS certification valid?
All official AHA BLS and ACLS certificates are valid globally for 2 years from the date of issue.
5. Is an AHA Pre-Test mandatory before attending?
Yes. The AHA requires all ACLS candidates to complete the online Precourse Self-Assessment (scoring 84%+) and bring a printed score certificate on Day 1.
6. Is HeartCode BLS / ACLS (Blended Learning) available?
Yes. Students can complete theoretical modules online via AHA's portal, then visit any of our main training centers for hands-on skill checks.
7. Are certificates valid for Gulf & Western job licensing?
Yes. Official AHA provider cards issued through Charles Institute are accepted internationally for DHA, HAAD, MOH, Saudi Commission, NCLEX-RN, and NHS verification.
8. What is the passing score criteria for exams?
Students must pass all hands-on practical skill evaluations (CPR/AED & Megacode) and achieve a minimum score of 84% on the AHA multiple-choice written exam.
