How to do AHA ACLS/PALS Pretest Online?

ACLS and PALS courses include a Precourse Self-Assessment that is required for entry into the course.

Step 1: Go to the pretest website

PALS: https://elearning.heart.org/course/426

Step 2: Click on Menu

Step 3: Sign in | Sign Up

If you already have an account, sign in.
If you do not have one, click on create an account.
If you have purchased eBooks, the credentials used to login into your eBook account can be used here.

Step 4: Select the course and click on lAUNCH

If the course is not seen, in the search box, type in “acls precourse”(as shown in the picture above). You should see the course below.

Step 5: Scroll down and click on Start

Enter your name as you wish to appear on your final certificate.

Step 6: Start answering the MCQs

Select an option from the list and submit.

# If you want to pause in between, click on “exit exercise; so that your data is saved.

# While login-in again, you will be asked whether to “resume” or “retake”. Click on resume- to continue from where you stopped.

# This Test has 3 parts

You should score at least 70% to get directed to the next stage and to get the final report.
